a visitor and one other asks who is the visitor, the passing pedestrian or the tree? The benches occupy the site, their bold color creating a focal point. The site, an oddly shaped greenspace, hosts a number of magnificent tree specimens. The pedestrian is invited to activate the site – to take a seat, and experience the space as they had not before. A desired path will evolve over time, leaving the trace of interaction and the acknowledgment of time.
