1999
Screen printed wall with iris prints and cast beeswax forms, 8'x8'x18".
The chance discovery of actual turn-of-the-century
Buffalo blueprints propelled this project. Portions of the architectural
plans, with text and images of common household vessels, investigate
our attachment to place. The ghostly remnants of past lives are
assembled to create a poetic evocation of the temporary and timeless
aspects of home and their imprint on our memory.
