Astroturf, oilcloth, artificial flowers, concrete, mirrors and pin wheels
Installed on the north campus lawn, Re Dressing
offers a pause in the journey from the academic quad to the living
area and eastward down the hill. The oversize urn spills floral
pinwheels onto a blanket of blue astro turf. The urn as well as
the sky blue concrete bubbles serves as benches, providing a rest
in the passage from one point of campus to another. The floral
oilcloth, artificial flowers and astro turf juxtapose themselves
against the controlled nature of the oaks, elms and weeping cherry
planted on the north lawn.
